Over the course of the last ten weeks, we’ve shared articles from each of the three University of Aberdeen MSc Global Health and Management students we’ve had the pleasure of hosting as they’ve completed their Work Based Placements with us. Timur, Nadytia and Victoria have completed projects, respectively, on Communities of Practice, antimicrobial stewardship, and overcrowding and bed management in low-income country maternity units.
Yesterday we were surprised by the students who asked for a ‘meeting’ with us in the afternoon only to be greeted with cake and goodies as a thank you for hosting them! Our tea party was a really lovely end to their time with us, during which they have worked incredibly hard to produce three excellent reports on their respective topics, in the style of ‘Knowledge Summaries’. Each of which is of great relevance to Soapbox as we continue to develop our work in these areas.
Victoria will be returning to Soapbox to complete her dissertation with us and we look forward to seeing her again soon, meanwhile, we look forward to Timur and Nadytia popping into the office to say hello on their way past and wish them all the very best for their continued studies.
