Volunteering with Soapbox
Soapbox volunteers are a crucial part of our organisation. Working as one team, we combine skills and experience to create positive change for mothers and babies in maternity units in Africa and Asia.
We look to recruit enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are keen to ‘get stuck in’ and make a difference. In return, we offer rewarding work, CV enhancing experience, on-going support, training where appropriate and the opportunity to be involved in life saving initiatives.
If this sounds good to you, please register your interest by sending us your CV, making sure you include information about your special interests and hobbies and indicating which of our volunteering groups described below, you would like to be involved in.
The Soapbox Ambassadors
The Soapbox Ambassadors are a team of volunteers who commit to assisting Soapbox at a minimum of three events each year. The Ambassadors have the opportunity to be involved in awareness raising, fundraising and/or advocacy activities and events both locally and nationally including the Edinburgh and Bloomsbury Festivals.
Soapbox would love to combine your special areas of interest with our awareness raising activities. Whether it is drama, IT, photography, crafts, science, sports, or a million other things, give your time and we will promise to turn what you love doing into a life saving gift.
